Would love to get back into those. You tend to get better leaves when you miss and might find your scores going up. If your not playing straight right now, I'd give that a try. Straighter is always greater for my game. I've bowled Diversey a few times and found that standing on 15 and throwing down 10 was very successful. I can imagine those lanes being tough to maintain a high average on. I do notice that the pin carry there is TOUGH. The lanes are usually bone dry, but I'm sure with oil they play well. They have old wood lanes which are really fun to bowl on, reminds me of my college practice center. Started throwing my old pearl-urethane ball, standing at 15 and throwing to 10. Only issue I find at Waveland is that I cannot play deep there with anything aggressive (hy-road, which technically isn't that strong). Bowling on a league at Waveland right now and the lanes are not too hard at all. Just picked bowling back up this season after being out of the game for 5 years.
